Ancestor Arts Foundation
Ancestor Arts Foundation is the nonprofit partner of Ancestor Group.
The Foundation was created in response to a growing challenge facing Miami's creative community. Artists and cultural workers are increasingly being priced out of the city they help define. Without intentional intervention, this displacement threatens the cultural identity, creative economy, and long-term vitality of Miami.
Ancestor Arts Foundation supports housing and real estate initiatives that center artists, cultural workers, and creative communities, particularly in neighborhoods experiencing rapid change and affordability pressures. Its work is grounded in the belief that cultural continuity is essential to sustainable urban development and that artists must be able to live, work, and remain in Miami over the long term.
The Foundation partners with public agencies, developers, and philanthropic organizations to structure projects that integrate affordable housing, cultural space, and community-serving uses. Through these efforts, Ancestor Arts Foundation seeks to ensure that Miami's creative community remains a lasting and active part of the city's future.
Ancestor Media
Ancestor Group develops original media projects that explore the real estate industry and the forces that shape cities. This work is rooted in a long track record of large-scale storytelling across film, television, and publishing, and reflects a belief that development, housing, and urban change are cultural narratives as much as economic ones.
Drawing on decades of experience developing projects with major networks, studios, financiers, and globally recognized creative partners, Ancestor Group approaches media with the same discipline and long-term perspective that guides its real estate work. Projects are conceived over extended development timelines and focus on ownership, power, legacy, and the human impact of the built environment.
Storytelling functions as a parallel expression of the firm's real estate and nonprofit efforts, extending their reach through narrative while reinforcing a shared mission. Together, these initiatives aim to contribute to a broader public understanding of how cities are built, who they are built for, and what is at stake as urban environments continue to change.
